AETAS – Explainer Video Series

For the AETAS Kinderstiftung München (Children’s Foundation in Munich), we have had the privilege of realizing a series of animated films that focus on the traumatization of children and young people, aligning with the foundation’s mission. The project is titled “Kurswechsel,” which translates to “Course Change”, symbolizing a transformative journey towards healing and resilience.

The main character of these films is the “Seefahrerkind” (Seafarer Child), designed by the renowned children’s book illustrator SaBine Büchner. The Seefahrerkind represents the challenges children face while navigating the storms of life, both physically and mentally. Accompanied by “Möwi,” a small, bright seagull, the Seefahrerkind receives support and guidance, embodying the hope and assistance offered by the foundation.

Illustrating and animating such a sensitive topic is both a challenging and rewarding task for us. We have developed these films in close collaboration and consultation with AETAS, and we are grateful for the trust they have placed in us.
