Who are we

Protoplanet is an award winning creative studio in Berlin, Friedrichshain, specializing in 2D animation, illustration and character design. We love making handcrafted, humorous and poetic films that convey a strong sense of visual storytelling that inspire people. We conceptualize, design and animate creative 2D animations and illustrations which have been used for cinema, television, internet and advertising. They have a large variety of applications ranging from marketing and education to stickers and children’s books.

Protoplanet ist ein auf 2D-Animation, Illustration und Charakterdesign spezialisiertes Kreativstudio in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Wir lieben es, handgefertigte, humorvolle und poetische Filme zu machen, die ein starkes Gespür für visuelles Geschichtenerzählen vermitteln und Menschen inspirieren. Unverwechselbare 2D-Animationen und Illustrationen, die in Kino, Fernsehen, Internet und Werbung Verwendung finden, werden bei Protoplanet konzipiert, designt und zum Leben erweckt. Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten sind vielgestaltig und reichen von Marketing und Bildungsmitteln bis hin zu Aufklebern und Kinderbüchern.

What we do

We offer the whole package; from concept and look development to sound design and compositing. We love to convince, delve into the heart of design and think outside the box for any project whether it’s film, commercials, music video, games or even an animated greeting card.

Wir bieten das Gesamtpaket; Von der Konzept- und Lookentwicklung bis hin zum Sounddesign und Compositing. Wir lieben es zu überzeugen, tauchen in das Herz des Designs ein und denken bei jedem Projekt über den Tellerrand hinaus, egal ob es sich um einen Film, Werbespots, Musikvideos, Spiele oder sogar eine animierte Grußkarte handelt.
